Our Philosophy
The approach of Abundant Communities Together reflects thinking and praxis at the vanguard of the community development field today.  Many communities with large low income populations have an abundance of human capital (ordinary citizens, existing and potential leaders), natural capital (natural resources), and/or social capital (the network of family and community institutions). Typically, these community assets are underutilized or unorganized.  To realize abundance, community assets must be preserved, harnessed and leveraged to support the infusion of financial capital necessary for a sustainable, healthy community.
